Do You Want to Push My Buttons? Say This.

Whole heartedly agree. I went to school with the intention of being a bio major but ended up graduating with a BS in literature. And the education I got about life in general was invaluable. Part of that was the freedom to sit and openly discuss ideas with which I was not familiar. Though I might not have bought into the other person’s point of view, I always came away better for the discussion. When I was there formal education was as much about those interactions as it was the classes. That’s one reason the current environment in institutions of higher education terrifies me. Few people there can sit and explore all sides of an issue without losing their minds.
