UFC 296 goes down as the final UFC event of the year at the T-Mobile Arena, located in the fight capitol of the world, Las Vegas. We have two of the best welterweights fighting for gold as the main event headliner. Leon “Rocky” Edwards puts his title and 11 fight winning streak on the line against top dog Colby “Chaos” Covington. The co main event will be a high level rematch between two explosive flyweights who have a title on the line this time. Alexandre “The Cannibal” Pantoja will defend his belt against Brandon “Raw Dog” Royval. The main card also includes two fights where experienced veterans take on young prospects who are hype trains on winning streaks. Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson will take on Shavkat “Nomad” Rakhmonov, while Tony “El Cucuy” Ferguson takes on Paddy “the Baddy” Pimblett. Finally, we have a bout of two young prospects who have a history of being teammates. One is more experienced than the other. The experienced prospect will try to show levels to the fight game, while the younger prospect will attempt to show that he is the real day. Vicente Luque vs Ian Garry is the final fight on the main card.

The prelims are stacked in addition to the main card with, notably, major names fighting. The UFC president gave the ultimate Christmas gift for UFC fans, and it will be an incredible joy to watch Saturday night.
