100 YEARS OF WHAT?
I often indulge myself with the pleasure of embarking on an evening stroll. I especially savor my walks in the fall, there is just something about the brisk, smokey, air that provides my mind with some clarity. As my walk progressed my thoughts became leaves spinning away with the wind from the branches of my mind to the root of my soul.
In my ponderance of life, there is one persisting thought that I cannot seem to silence, “One day, tomorrow, 30 years from now, or maybe even today; it will all come to an end.” …

Let it be known that I have a voracious reading appetite, and my pallet is rather idiosyncratic. I often feast on the rich flavors of a well seasoned non-fiction story. In my youth, my mother taught me to chew my food, so when I dine on a new book, I take the time to become intimately familiar with the flavors dancing on my taste buds. Each spice, each grain of salt, they are all essential to truly understand the taste of a good book.
Although my appetite for non-fiction is refined, and tame, my hunger for fiction is nothing short of ravenous. In particular, I am entirely infatuated with the works of Brandon Sanderson. Simply put, the man is a genius, his brilliance shines in each word of every page, and at times he leaves me in need of a breath as I forget between bites. …
