100+ Words a Day (22)
Jul 10, 2017 · 2 min read
I haven’t had much of a chance to write the past couple days since I’ve been sick.

But I’ve been worse before! After a day of intense dizziness and disorientation, I’m finally stable enough to use my laptop.
Personal Updates:
- Still craving gooey Primo’s Pizza (my favorite pizza shop in the entire world which only exists in my hometown)
- I have pretty much every symptom you’d hear in a Mucinex commercial
- The couch I sleep on whenever I come back to California appears to be fond of me (it’s pretty much conformed to my body at this point)
- Everybody in my house is sick
- I really wanted to record my first Anchor podcast, but losing my voice has made that really difficult. Stay posted though!
- I’m considering hosting a welcome back get-together for all the Startup Junkies at ASU. Stay posted on that one.

PubLoft Updates:
- We’ve got a crap ton of posts to get done this month with due dates coming fast
- We’re hardcore looking for some solid writers
- Our runway still isn’t looking too good, but Mat and I are resourceful people so I’m not too worried about that
- We’re vetting a decent number of writers right now
- Using Zapier to make everything easier just makes us feel like mad scientists. If you haven’t heard of it or used it yet, you’re living in the stone age. USE IT.
- AirTable is also a beautiful software once you learn how to use it. The AirTable people are geniuses. They’ve made a complicated software super intuitive. Love it.
- Technical posts are really easy to come by in this industry, but technical writers? Not quite as much. That’s slowly becoming easier though.
- PubLoft will probably be really difficult to grow in Phoenix.
- Remotely working co-founder teams are insanely difficult. So excited to get back into PHX to work with Mat in person again.
