Silent Disco at Tellus360

Last Wednesday, June 1, I photographed the silent disco at Tellus360, in downtown Lancaster. Basically, a “silent disco” is like any other performance by a DJ, except that audience members wear wireless headphones to listen to the music.

Multiple DJs played music simultaneously, and listeners could choose which one to listen to via their headphones.
The headphones would light up in different colors, depending on which DJ the listener chose.
Two people danced, while listening to different songs.
After sunset, the headphones started to light up the roof.
It was hilarious to see people dance on a quiet roof, when I wasn’t wearing headphones.
The show lasted about four hours, from 8 to midnight.
