Token Tycoon Exclusive Closed Beta
Dear Tycoons,
The MOBOX team is proud to present that… Token Tycoon Exclusive Closed Beta is now ready for testing! The current version is only a small sample of what the official release will be. The game will be playable on your computer through a web browser (tokentycoon.io) or can be downloaded by scanning the QR Code (Android only). The iOS version is still under development and will be available for download after official release.
During the closed beta phase, all participating tycoons will receive managers, buildings and TTC equivalent to the amount purchased during the presale. The managers, buildings, and TTC during closed beta is ONLY for testing and will not consume the actual token that you own. A certain amount of TTC will be sent to all closed beta users daily throughout the testing period. The testing phase will be shut down on September 20th, 2018. Only a portion of the game content will be available during this phase.
note:
- You can transfer ETH from Rinkeby Testnet to your MOBOX wallet. Please make sure you do not transfer from Mainnet)
- Items bought from the presale during the closed beta phase will not be added to your inventory until official release unless requested. Items from presale are on the main network while closed beta is on the test network.

Here is a small intro and a quick guide on how to get started.
Getting Started
1. First Time Login
As this is a closed beta test, all you need to do is enter the username and password that you used during the presale to login to the game.
2. MOBOX Wallet
We have developed a MOBOX wallet to lower the barrier for non-crypto users. Therefore, when new users enter the game they will be provided with a unique wallet address where all their assets will be stored.
Here you can see the following:
a. Total Balance : The total value stored in your wallet including cryptocurrency earned through playing Token Tycoon.
b. Currency : This is the token that Token Tycoon will support. For test purposes only TTC and ETH from Rinkesby Testnet will be shown.
c. Balance : The amount of the specific token you have in your wallet.
d. Receive : Here you will find your wallet address. Simply copy your wallet address or scan the QR code to send tokens to your MOBOX wallet.
e. Withdraw : Transfer your tokens from your MOBOX wallet to another cold or hot wallet.
3. Setting up your Tycoon City
a. The first time you enter the game you will need to enter a name for your Tycoon City. You will then need to choose a country to represent. It is recommended that you choose the country that you reside in as there will be new content where your country will come into play after the official release. Your Tycoon City is where everything happens. Keep it buzzing with customers by adding new shops and collect cash daily!
b. You will be presented with 2 shops and 4 talents at the start of the game to help you start off building your Tycoon City. Tap the cash icon to collect.
c. The main goal of the game is to increase your market value by building up your Tycoon City. To increase your market value you must build shops and buildings, hire talents and managers to run your businesses efficiently and increase your cash production.
d. Cash is a unique ERC20 Token that resides on the Ethereum Network. Generating Cash is foremost the main goal of the game. Cash can be used to hire talent and is a direct measure of your market value. As the saying goes… Cash is KING!
4. Shops, Buildings, Talents, and Managers
a. Shops : Shops are basically your businesses. They consist of casinos, restaurants, bars, and more. You can build new shops on empty plots of land and upgrade your shops to increase their production and efficiency.
- Sales Bonus : increases your cash production
- Customers : increases the number of customers that go into your shop, and in turn increases the amount of cash production
- Employees : The number of talents that operate the store at a time. Maximizing your talents will increase your cash production.
- Experience : By building and upgrading shops you can gain experience and increase your Tycoon City level.
b. Buildings : Buildings are limited ERC721 Tokens that can be placed on a plot of land. Buildings provide an area bonus to surrounding buildings. They are only available during the presale and/or can be purchased from another player in the marketplace.
c. Talents : Are unique ERC721 Tokens that are essential to any shops and businesses. Different talents will increase production for different shops. Match the right talents with the right shops to increase their efficiency.
d. Managers : Are unique ERC721 Tokens and are limited in supply. Managers like talents are essential personnel needed for every business to be successful. They can only be purchased from the presale or through the marketplace.
e. Talent Pairings : Choosing the right talent for the right business is extremely important. The last thing any business owner wants is an employee that doesn’t suit the job. But it is even more important to find employees that work together with efficiency. Pair together the right talents to form the most formidable team giving you the best production value.
5. Tycoon Points and Leaderboard
a. Leaderboard : The real-time leaderboard ranks players based on their market value. The higher the market value the higher that you rank. There are a total of 6 industries in the game; Catering, Entertainment, Clothing, Luxury, Retail, and Digital. Users will also be ranked according to their market value in a specific industry.
b. Tycoon Points : According to your ranking, Tycoon Points will be sent to users every hour. The higher your ranking The more points you will gain.
6. Tycoon Lottery : Users can use their Tycoon Points to invest in the Tycoon Lottery.
Everyday 3 users will be chosen to win a portion of the Tycoon Lottery.
Tycoon Lottery = 10% of Daily Consumed Tokens
If the total value of the Tycoon Lottery is less than 1 ETH, a portion of the main jackpot will be added to the Tycoon Lottery. If the amount of the main jackpot is not enough to add to the Tycoon Lottery or the number of participants is less than 5, Tycoon Lottery will not open until the next round and/or minimum requirements are met.
