Cross Chain Bridge for Ether One (Ether One to Polygon)
Updated: 26 Jan 2024
Concept :
The cross chain bridge is required to transfer assets from one blockchain to another blockchain. These assets can be any information, cryptocurrency tokens or NFT’s. This increases the utility of the token or asset and allows cross chain liquidity between distinct chains.
Bridges are usually two way. You can move assets to and from chains.
Ether One Cross Chain Bridge:
EthOne is the native token of Ether One blockchain. In order to trade it with any other token on Ether One, you need to wrap it as an ERC 20 token. This is done by creating a Wrapped version named WETHONE. The token address is 0x5db6199605DA5155E65037D5B1bDCcB77a40FA38. You can wrap it using any swap dapp on EtherOne. You can also use the experimental beta ver 1.0 of EtherOneSwap at https://swap.etherone.one/#/swap. This token can be swapped with other tokens on the Ether One chain. But this token can’t be swapped on any other chain like Ethereum Main Net, Ethereum POW, Polygon or even DogeChain.
Bridge Ether One to Polygon:
You can follow the steps below to move your existing WETHONE tokens to Polygon. You can use the same bridge to move WETHONE back to EtherOne from Polygon. The steps below only show you how to move WETHONE from EtherOne to Polygon.
The WETHONE address on Polygon is 0xaE8c779c1c5D4Bfb328259a9b0F2134c1b60287B.
The bridge is a joint venture between Ether One and Wizard Dex. https://bridge.etherone.one/
Make sure to import WETHONE using Metamask on the Polygon Network. This will help you to see WETHONE tokens once you receive them on Polygon.
Bridge Fees :
Hundreds of development hours have gone into the development of Cross Chain bridging engine. To cover for on going operations and support, we need to charge a minimal fee.
Following transfer fees apply to Cross chain bridge:
Polygon to EtherOne -> Fee is now 10 ETHONE
Ether One to Polygon -> Fee is now 5 Matic
Step 1: Open the link to Ether One Cross Chain Bridge.
Step 2: Press “Connect Wallet” button. Make sure the “EtherOne to Polygon” blue button at the top is selected.
The red button will change to purple when connected to Metamask.
Now you can enter the amount of ETHONE you want to send to Polygon Chain.
Press “Approve contract” to send the request to the bridge for approval.
Metamask will pop up to ask for permission to access your WETHONE for transmission to Polygon.
Scroll down to confirm.
Once you press confirm you’ll see the processing message. Once the processing is done, you’ll see the message below.
Now your WETHONE are on Polygon Chain and you need to Claim them using our bridge technology on the Polygon.
Switch your Metamask to connect to Polygon Chain.
Once you are connected to Polygon chain on Metamask, connect your wallet to our bridge on Polygon. Make sure to use the same Wallet address you used to send tokens to Polygon from Ether One.
If your tokens are successfully received on the Polygon Chain, your wallet should see the pending tokens.
Make sure you select the green “Polygon to Ether One” button.
Just press “Claim pending tokens” button.
You need to approve transaction on Metamask, when Metamask provides you with approval/confirmation popup.
Once the process is complete, you’ll see the following confirmation screen.
Swap WETHONE on Quick Swap :
WETHONE pair with Matic (Polygon Native Token) is available.
You can add liquidity to Matic / WETHONE on Quickswap
Just enter the Matic amount and WETHONE amount will be automatically populated based on current pool rate. If you have enough tokens for both, you can press Supply to add liquidity.
You will see the option below if you have added the liquidity.
Bridge WETHONE from Polygon to Ether One :
You can transfer your ether one (WETHONE) tokens from Polygon chain to Ether One chain. You can use the screen below to do it. The process is very simple. Details will be added later.
