Web3 Reputation System EtherScore Joins Chainlink BUILD
We’re excited to announce that EtherScore is officially joining the Chainlink BUILD program. As a part of BUILD, we aim to accelerate the growth and long-term adoption of our on-chain reputation system by gaining enhanced access to Chainlink’s industry-leading oracle services and technical support, as well as incentivizing greater cryptoeconomic security, in exchange for a commitment to provide network fees and other benefits to the Chainlink community and service providers, including stakers.
EtherScore has long been an active participant and believer in Chainlink, currently using Chainlink Any API to help secure its solution. Our participation in BUILD furthers our integration with Chainlink, with added benefits of priority support from the Chainlink ecosystem, increased access to dApps needing to identify and reward their users, and stronger incentive alignment between the Chainlink and EtherScore communities.
We’re confident that through enhanced support, secure off-chain services, and the backing of Chainlink’s vibrant community, we can accelerate awareness of EtherScore and realize the adoption of the soulbound tokens and NFTs that underpin our on-chain reputation system.
EtherScore: Advancing On-Chain Reputation
EtherScore’s mission is to create an on-chain, customizable reputation system that empowers Web3 projects to find, recognize, and reward users over time. Providing badges based on users’ on-chain history enables protocols to create a stronger community and reward users based on their contributions.
By minting NFT badges and soulbound tokens via EtherScore, developers can create a new generation of dApps — including DAOs, decentralized social networks, GameFi projects, and DeFi protocols — that provide exclusive features, services, and rewards to curated on-chain communities.
Beyond the benefits of dApps, EtherScore users can share their personalized profile to showcase their web3 achievements to friends and communities. Users can also play a role in EtherScore DAO, which is designed to involve the community in governance decisions and experiment with web3 curation, reputation-based DAOs and incentives.
Why We Joined Chainlink BUILD
EtherScore joined BUILD to maximize the benefits of security and reliability that Chainlink’s Web3 services platform provides. As part of BUILD, EtherScore will receive key benefits, including access to and integration of Chainlink Functions to fetch data from any API and enable a wide array of NFT badges and soulbound tokens, access to new Chainlink product alpha and beta releases, and many other benefits.
In exchange for these services, EtherScore will make 5% of its native token supply available to Chainlink service providers, including stakers, over time. These mutually aligned economic incentives enable both communities to support one another.
