Additionally, forecasters who would have taken the 1st to 4th places will also get a reward in ETH: 2 ETH for the 1st finalist, 1,5 ETH for the 2nd, 1 ETH for 3rd place and 0,5 ETH for 4th place.

Points Accrual

The points are being accounted in the same way as in previous testing contests: 1 point for 7 correctly forecasted event outcomes, 2 points for 8 events, 3 points for 9, 5 points for 10 events and 8 points for 11 correct forecasts.

The results of points accrual will be posted online on the EtherSport MVP main page.

The 5 Lines Rule

In the new testing period, the rule of limiting the amount of played lines to 5 within a day, will also be implied, but this time automatically. The MVP will block any attempts to fill in more than 5 lines, starting the same day.

Sign Up for the New Testing Contest

All contestants, who are already registered with the MVP, will need to register their wallet address in My Profile’ section. For that, just paste your wallet address into the corresponding field.

To add your wallet, enter its address into the Wallet field and click Create.

New users will be asked to provide their wallet address together with the email and password right during the signup process.

This wallet address will correspond to the forecaster’s account email to which the points for forecasting the events correctly will be accounted.

Payment of the entry fee (read further) will only be accepted from the wallet address stated in the account. Changing the connected wallet address is prohibited.

The prizes will be distributed only to wallets, which are connected to the account email and have paid the entry fee (read further).

Every contestant has a right to register an unlimited number of emails and wallet address pairs and paying the entry fee from the according wallet address.

The contestants who will create a correct account with a wallet address tied to an email, but who will fail to pay the entry fee, will not be granted a right to play the prize-winning testing contest.

The EtherSport team recommends MyEtherWallet or any other wallet software supporting ERC20 standard, for working with the platform on any OS and browser. You can watch a guide for using MyEtherWallet here.

Testing Contest Entry Fee

Every forecaster who wants to take part in the contest should pay an entry fee of 0.05 ETH from the connected wallet to the EtherSport wallet (0xa0186eab60A3Bc288e67414e839328eB9cA2593e), after which the system identifies this wallet and validates the connection with user email and grants the forecaster a right to fill in the contest lines.

This wallet address will also be fixed as the wallet to which the payouts will be provided in case of taking the prize-winning places in the contest.

14 days before the contest start are provided for signup of new users and entry fee payment, starting from March 31st. The testing contest will start on April 15th. Sign up and entry fee payment will also be open during the 1st month of the contest, until May 15th.

Other Conditions

The results of postponed, delayed, canceled or any other lines alike, will be considered as with previous two testing rounds.

In case of event or events that did not occur, their outcome will be based on the outcome of all preceding events in the line, utilizing the percentage of victories from each side. In case the event is the first in line, its apparent result will be calculated from all occurring events below it.

For example, say the event #5 has been canceled. First 4 events have the following results: 1st team win, 1st team win, draw, 2nd team win. In this case, the most occurring outcome is the victory of 1st team, and this result will be added to the event #5. If the event #1 was canceled, the same calculation would be provided with events 2 to 11, and the most occurring winner would be selected as the outcome of the canceled event.

If there are several events that didn’t play are in one line, they will be calculated the same way, without taking in account other unplayed events.

If the percent of wins is equal for both sides, the event in question will be considered a draw.

The EtherSport team would like to stress out that we have increased the prize fund of the testing contest and the number of prize-winning places.
