As opposed to the Muslim patriarchy who presumably wants nothing more than to dignify and celebrate the women in their community, right?
By any objective measure, women in Muslim communities are significantly worse off than women in the “white, cruel European patriarchy”. Why don’t you start there?
It’s hard to watch someone exercise their freedom of speech to criticize the very community that first produced and continues to guarantee that freedom, in defense of a community that never even countenanced such freedom.
