Here at Ethorse, we are working around the clock to finish up our crowdsale smart contract and make sure everything is in working order for the Phase 1 HORSE token sale starting on January 10, 2018. We are also continuing to develop the Ethorse dApp (live on the Ropsten Testnet here: https://ethorse.github.io/Betting/ ) in preparation for our launch on the Ethereum Mainnet soon.
Over the past couple of weeks, we have seen a massive growth of interest in Ethorse on all of our social platforms (Telegram, Reddit, Twitter, and Discord). Though we covered to an extent in the whitepaper, one of the main questions/concerns that members joining our community keep bringing up is that of the anonymity of our development team. Today we would like to give a little bit of a more in-depth explanation for our position and hopefully allay any associated concerns.
Why we believe anonymity is a non-issue going forward
In today’s digital society, anyone can buy or steal identities to slap a name and a face onto a project. In the crypto world, ICOs sometimes even use names and personalities to hype up their own projects to inflate token prices or generate interest. Here at Ethorse, we are not interested in any of that. We are committed to developing and delivering the world’s first decentralized parimutuel betting platform to bet on Cryptocurrencies. Even though our team members come with a lot of experience in Blockchain development, we want our current work (200 Github commits in last 3 months) and the dApp to speak for itself without resting on our past experience or previous project successes.
Our goal is to provide our users with an excellent dApp that traders are excited to use, and through exceptional work product, to gain the trust of the user base. Our strong community will continue to support and champion the success of Ethorse. We are continuing to be very visible and present on our social media channels to gather feedback while diligently continuing to work on Ethorse. We will continue to prove to our early adopters that we are a trustworthy team that will deliver work according to our promises and exceed our users’ expectations.
