Ethos Wallet Raises $4.2M in Seed Round to Continue Development on Sui Blockchain

We’re excited to announce that Ethos has raised $4.2 million in a seed round. This seed round was co-led by Boldstart Ventures and Gumi Cryptos Capital. Additional investors include Mysten Labs and a number of others who are industry experts and leaders in the blockchain space.

This round will enable Ethos to increase headcount and continue development of our reimagined wallet, focused on discovering and engaging with apps on the Sui blockchain, and the accompanying wallet infrastructure.

At Ethos, we believe that the power of the blockchain as a technology could positively impact billions of people. For this to happen, however, it needs to become significantly easier for developers to build creative, valuable applications and consumers to use these apps in a safe and empowered way. The Sui blockchain is making major progress towards addressing some of the foundational challenges on this front.

The Sui blockchain and the Sui Move programming language are a significant step forward in enabling developers to build great consumer apps. This technology makes it easier to bring creative new ideas to life, and harder to make mistakes. Inspired by this progress, we are redefining wallet design patterns and expanding capabilities outside of traditional wallet functionality. Our aim is to support developers and consumers alike to create and experience many different applications and use cases.
