Emails leaked from former Secretary of State Colin Powell’s gmail account showed various exchanged on his views of Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. Powell has confirmed the authenticity of the emails to NBC News, adding that “The hackers have a lot more”.
The emails were first reported by BuzzFeed News, where they claim the website DCLeaks.com had first obtained the emails. MSNBC claim that the website has ties to Russian intelligence services.
In a personal email exchange with an aide June 17 he calls Donald Trump a “national disgrace” and a person who is an “international pariah”. He insisted that the Democrats need not do anything to defeat him in the next election, as Donald Trump is “in the process of destroying himself”.
NBC Poll: Donald Trump narrows Hillary Clinton’s lead among independents
Hillary Clinton’s lead over Donald Trump has continued to narrow after a decline of 2 points since last week.
According to results from the latest NBC News|SurveyMonkey Weekly Election Tracking Poll, Hillary Clinton now leads Trump %48 to %44. If the election were to be held today with four candidates, including Gary Johnson and Jill Stein, Hillary Clinton would only lead Donald Trump by 2 points, %42 to %40.
Clinton diagnosed with pneumonia — Hillary’s health becomes a real campaign issue
US Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has been forced to cancel her campaign trip to California after being diagnosed with pneumonia.
She was seen stumbling as she left a 9/11 memorial service early on Sunday. Her physician, Dr Lisa Bardack stated that “Secretary Clinton has been experiencing a cough related to allergies. On Friday, during follow-up evaluation of her prolonged cough, she was diagnosed with pneumonia. She was put on antibiotics, and advised to rest and modify her schedule.” Her doctor said that she is now “recovering nicely”.
The Clinton campaign has come under fire after waiting three days to disclose the illness, with elections only 58 days away. After multiple conspiracy theories advanced by top Trump campaign supporters, Hillary Clinton’s health has now become a real issue in the presidential campaign. The fact that no reporters were allowed to follow the Clinton team as she left the 9/11 memorial service further complicates the claim that the 68 year old is in perfect health.
