Let’s talk about how to set up a business in a healthy way.
So, I can get a little bit nerdy sometimes.
And one one the things I get nerdy about, is the setup of my business.
I’ve spent so much time researching. Possibly way too much time — but in the end, I think it paid off (after all, these are really important choices).
No one-size fits all
The things I have been considering, are things like these: Which email service provider will give me the features I need, the highest quality, and a price I am willing to pay? How can I make a website that looks gorgeous, is easy to edit, and doesn’t cost too much?
Which course platform will deliver my products to my students in the best way? (After all, I spend months and months making these products — I wouldn’t want to stumble at the last step).
And how can I sell on autopilot, with funnels that are well set up and reliable — and still with a price tag that is as reasonable as possible?
These are super-important questions. And the answers will not be the same for different people. There isn’t one answer of a provider of these things that will be best for all of us, as we all have different needs for features and support levels, different budgets, and different tech knowledge from before.
One favorite: ThriveCart
However, I do have one recommendation that I think will be useful for a lot of people who are selling digital products and/or courses, and that is ThriveCart.

I bought the lifetime license very early in my business, only about a month after launching. I still remember how scary that felt. It was by far my largest investment at that point, and $495 felt like such a huge sum of money.
It still is a huge sum of money — but today, I am still patting my former self on the back for making that smart choice.
I haven’t paid a penny in fees for a course platform or sales platform since then, nor will I have to do so going forward. If I had to pay monthly fees for a sales platform and a course platform (plus Zapier to connect them), I would easily have spent $100 a month.
