Story Over Photo.

A Personal Project, collaboration between Eugenia Clara and Neill Kumar | BLUE.

Eugenia Clara: “I have some internet friends I forgot where or when I knew them, all I aware is I’ve known them for so long. And it is nice to do things with your cool friend. I love how Neill shot his photos, that is soulful and beautifully cinematographic feeling. He shot the part of the world I haven’t yet have the chance to see. This is the 6 series, collaboration with Neill | BLUE.”

Neill Kumar | BLUE: “I met Eugenia on Instagram a few years back. She’s from Indonesia. I’ve always adored her work and her ability to be honest and tell stories through her words. I love that social media allows us to connect with people around the world. It eliminates borders and distances. I think sometimes our relationship with the people on the Internet are more authentic with the people in our lives. We feel that we are more open to say what we want to say and are more honest about who we are.”

“What a wonderful life I’ve had! I only wish I’d realized it sooner.” — Colette

Life is tough, my darling, but so are you. — Stephanie Bennett-Henry.

On August 2001,
Lorraine Bracco of Interview Magazine had a talk with Destiny’s Child. The interview was about the backstory of a song, their journey, etc. I’ve cited my favourite part of the interview, that often cited and quoted by lots of internet people.

Beyoncé: “…for our struggles, for our trials and tribulations, because they’ve made us who we are. If everything was perfect you would never learn and you would never grow.
Lorraine: “And you would never have anything to write about. To be able to turn those situations into art,”
Beyoncé: “Exactly.”
