How To Be Self Taught

Dear Tobias,

I understand you very well for I too HAD TO DROP OUT OF SCHOOL when I was 15. My parents did not have the money to pay for the tuition and while finding out, I decided to look for a job.

From your story I learned one important thing about myself : Everything starts with curiosity and your first step. Just listen to your instincts.

I did listen to my instincts and from an early age became interested in languages of the world. I am Belgian and as you may know we have 3 major languages in our small country and I was fortunate enough to be in contact with the most spoken ones,. French and Flemish. Latin and Germanic languages open the world for me, since then I learned Russian and Hebrew and got a taste of many of the other languages on our little planet.

Thank you for giving me that good feeling a being a”self taught” human being and not just a “pariah” in our world of University Degrees People.

I will certainly follow your BLOGS now that I have gotten a taste for Tobias’stories.

Hope to read you often.
