Resignation Letter

I submitted my resignation letter today to RFA. Technically, my last day will be September 30, 2016. Due to some remaining vacation days, my unofficial last day will be the 22nd.

I know for sure that God had placed me here three and one half years ago, but I sense a season of change in my life. The story of how I got to RFA is another blog post for another day.

I have so many mixed emotions but out of all of them, I’m so grateful.

Thankful for the following:

  • RFA family. I have so much respect and love for each person at the office. No doubt that we are a hodgepodge of people, but we really make the world go around each and every day.
  • All that I’ve learned and experienced at RFA. Especially through GPG, LJR and RW.
  • Support I’ve received with the next move to learn and take a complete different direction from tax.
  • Warm words like “we’ll welcome you back with open arms” and “you have to come back.” Can I really take you up on the latter?

Even though the news of me leaving was out last week, I held the resignation till the very last day of this month because I wanted to hold onto the place I’ve called second home.

RFA family, I will truly miss every one of you.
