Sweet & fried
There are two reactions to stress in regards to food: eat or not eat.
I’m a stress eater. Food provides a level of comfort that I need when I’m under a lot of pressure. Anything sweet or fried usually hits the spot. Higher the fat content the better it soothes my pain away. Do I hear an Amen?
You can most likely gage my level of stress from my weight. My weight has fluctuated a lot over the years and the cause of this wide range in scale numbers is due to work and life stress.
As I take a break or leave the tax world for a few months, I wonder how much impact the elimination of work stress will have on my weight and eating habits.
If work is out of the picture, will my eating habits change? Check back in a few months and we’ll find out.
