Black athletes are lining up to oppose NFL’s proposed “N-word” ban
Not all African-American athletes are supportive of NFL’s language cleanupNot everyone is on board with the NFL’s movement to remove the “N-word” from the gridiron. A group of players, whom are all black, led by Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman spoke out against the proposed ban. Sherman said Monday that he thought the ban was an “atrocious idea”. “It’s almost racist, to me. It’s weird they’re targeting one specific word.
