In order to maintain a strong and healthy relationship between a husband and wife it is vitally important that both partners are concerned about the mental and physical well-being of their partners and ensure that the both of them are getting and peaceful and calm sleep at night .According to a study conducted by the National Sleep foundation 39 % of American adults get less than seven hours of sleep which is way less than 8 hours of sleep needed to function efficiently during the day. The couples which are facing this issue of lack of sleep due to the snoring partners affects their daily life routines and prevent them from being proactive and energetic during the day. It is found to be very common among married couples that rather than addressing the snoring problems of their partners most couples avoid addressing this issue and finding a workable solution. Some couples even start sleeping in separate rooms due to this disturbance caused by snoring of their partners which affects the relationship to a huge level and affects the togetherness and understanding among the spouse and the wife.

So rather than avoiding snoring issue among partners it must be addressed and if needed medical help must be obtained so that the sleep patterns of both partners can be brought back to normal and the couples no longer need to sleep in separate rooms in order to get a good night’s sleep. The first step which must be taken even before requiring any medical help is to change your sleeping style and making it the healthiest one. As studies have revealed the sleeping on your back is the healthiest way of sleep and it is also responsible for minimizing the snoring problem to a very low level. So in order to make your and your partner’s sleep free of any hazards , interruptions or disturbances this sleeping style must be adopted in addition to other steps recommended by your doctor.
