How do you recognise the Holy Spirit?

It may sound like what people call ‘gut-instinct’, however it will be spiritual, good pleasing, perfect, honourable thoughts. Say if you feel you should pray for someone, help around the house, do a few days fast, etc.
Those are all probable signs it is the Holy Spirit speaking to you

If you are stood in worship and you see a picture in your head, like a short video clip, that is called a vision.

If you are praying for someone and words start flowing which seem specific, that’s a prophecy.

If any of the above contradict with the word or are not in love, they are not the Spirit. It will guide you to all truth, it will not conflict with the Bible, it will not harm but heal.
