ALCOHOL

A tap on the shoulder. #RW30

A tap on the shoulder. “Hey, who do you think you are?” The New Guy said.

Wes whirls and punches— not a doozy, but unexpected chin-scraper that stuns The New Guy.

Wes runs— the coward! Is he leaving The Girl in the parking lot alone with The New Guy? He is not! He has stopped at a nearby dumpster to retrieve a heavy-gauge chain. It’s quite long and impressive. He flings it around his own neck like a scarf, rolls the ends around his fists— he resembles a very dangerous pocket-watch.

Wes marches toward The New Guy.

“Wesley!” Imagine the look on The Girl’s pretty face!

“Hey man, just calm down…” The New Guy backpedals into a parked car.

Two chains, a left and a right, The New Guy battered onto the hood of a Cadillac, solidly knocked out before he can hear Wes triumphantly state:

“I’m her boyfriend.”

He is not. He is The Ex. He is drunk. She is not happy.

The police will likely be summoned and nothing will be fixed.
