That sounds like an interesting line of reasoning because not everyone can do the job that they want to do if there were more necessary jobs that they should do or to fulfill supply and demand.

We have a couple of problems for society, but society is not inclined to solve them for (1) lack of information on the answer to the question “What is necessary?” and (2) the people who would answer these questions (philosopher kings) need to win emotional trust from the people they intend to give solutions for, especially since it is just the Turing Halting problem by another name to figure out how many philosopher kings are too few or too many.

I would decidedly not think about the philosophical points of my discussion :)
