Being well organized as a beginner photographer can go a long way toward hiding inexperience. There will be mistakes, and there will be issues outside of your control, but luck favors the well prepared. Know where you are going, what you are doing, and what you need to get the job done so that you can handle unforeseen circumstances as they come.

It is my opinion that minimizing thought in the repetitive parts of any job frees your mind for the creative aspects of that job. I also believe one path to achieving this, especially where automation is impossible or impractical, is having an established procedure for accomplishing these repetitive tasks.
