The sun warms my face as I step out of the lawyer's office, and it fills me with unbridled joy. No longer will I have to live with that man, pick up his socks or turn down his pawing advances. I am free from his smell, the sweat-stained bedsheets and the loud, obnoxious pissing with the door open.
