I’m travelling a lot. Now, here in Munich, I would declare that on my opinion rich (thank for classical capitalism) countries which is usually more free-market oriented (funny to see rich market-denial countries) have more goods in shops and services than poor and less free-market oriented. I say about regular local shops. This is true even if you compare such megalopolis as Moscow and such a small german city as Hannover.
These huge amount of various goods and services are the product of the complex social life. And it’s not so hard to prove, that if gvt suppress money exchange, freedom, intervene into economy, society will starting to produce less amount and less diverse products (it’s also about control itself).
