How to travel to Germany and enjoy it to the fullest

If you are flying to Germany in winter, when you are doing your luggage, remember only pack the essential: clothing for the cold, thermals, gloves and winter hats. This could save you from passing a bad moment instead of enjoy those beautiful surprises that the country has to offer. Before getting to the airport, say goodbye to your relatives and tell them everything you want, cry if necessary. Think that you won’t see your family for a certain time and the moment of separation can bring out the feelings making you feel excited but sad at the same time.

A whole new world?

Keep in your mind that Germany is a country with different manners as yours. Try not to talk loudly if you don’t want to receive strange stares from the people. They are very quiet; no one talk with a high tone of voice and you’ll see the reason once you get there. Simply there is no the necessity because there is almost no noise. During winter is cloudy, making appear the city dull and opaque, but the most you stay there, the most you’ll fall in love with the place.

Sharing the experience.

It is completely normal miss the family but fortunately with the new technologies it is very easy to be near them. Apps as Facebook or Messenger give the opportunity to communicate with people around the world in seconds and free, only requiring a Wi-Fi connection. Sending messages and photos to your relatives can show that you are happy where you are but you still remember them.

Surviving alone

Thanks to the metro it is possible get to any part of the city in minutes, it is a little expensive but is the best option to meet the city. If you don’t want to spend all the money on food there are a lot of places where you can eat very well for 5 euros, but before that, it is important to try the typical food of the country: schnitzel, kebab or sausages with curry. Germany is a place with beautiful landscapes where you can reconnect with nature; see a lot of places from castles to concentration camps or in the other hand, if you are a city person, you can live all the experience staying around shops, malls, business and skyscrapers in Berlin.

Missing and returning home

It is likely to be easier to make your luggage this time due to the past experience but never forgetting to not overpass the limit of weight at the airport. A very common situation is having the sensation of contradiction, not wanting to leave Germany and all the memories created, but at the same time, wanting to hug your relatives and return to your house and the facilities.

Getting used to the old.

The time between America and Europe are very different, when one has the sunlight the other has darkness. If you are flying at night the best you can do is maintain yourself awake so when you arrive, it will be at night, therefore you can get to the house and sleep the whole night.
