Please speak for YOUR current feed and not as if this was an objective experience. Many people unfollow accounts instead of just heaping up new ones. Many people use lists to get a lovingly carefully curated Twitter experience. Other people mute RTs and so on. There are as many different ways of using Twitter as there are things that people love about Twitter. A general algorithmic swipe could kill this diversity and a lot of those nuances. A big part of Twitter’s magic is in the deep contextuality of tweets.
