Among all the benefits that Eventbrite boasts of, ensuring that Britelings feel at home in the office is top-of-mind. For example, barklings, like Benson, keep the Briteland cozy, and Brite Belonging Groups, or BBGs for short, are another way Eventbrite creates spaces for belonging: Employees formally get together, based on a shared interest and identity.

One of the oldest and largest BBGs at Eventbrite is Pridelings. They first started in the San Francisco office in 2014, and as the company grew, so did the Pridelings. …

I’m a Customer Experience Representative in Dutch, English, and French so I help creators to set up and manage their events, and to overcome any challenges they might encounter. As I work on different markets, it’s really interesting as none of my days look the same. Sometimes I get more queries from the UK and Ireland, but on other days I might have more queries from Belgium and the Netherlands or have more emails from France and Canada. That’s probably the favorite part of my role: the variety and cultural diversity! …

Get dressed. Mom dresses me with bowtie, sweater, or bandana (whatever is seasonally appropriate at that time)
