The Chinese one-kid rule just ended in female babies ‘disappearing’, and a skewed demographic.

This significantly increased the effectiveness of the rule in reducing population growth. In fact, if all female babies would ‘disappear’ until existing females were all past child-bearing age, then the birth rate would go to zero.
