As a woman who loves to travel, and freelances, I’d like to say I both agree and disagree. My level of desire to travel and see new places will never top the feeling of sharing my existence with one single human being who will receive all the love in the world from me! I will want to travel with that single person and see all the beautiful places with him. All my discoveries and experiences would be empty if I have no one special to share them with. I do not understand the extreme view of being alone all the time for the sake of traveling, like it’s something divine and godly. It almost feels like the article portrays women who self-elevate themselves to being superior, so the message above feels even threatening. A woman traveler may be amazing, but if I were a man and I read the message above, I’d pass that girl.

My message is — appreciate a few people in your life and keep them forever. The world will always have time to be explored, but people forget that when you get old and wrinkled and with cracking bones all you have left are a handful of people to love you in your final days. I personally don’t want to die bitter and lonely, for whatever journeys I’ve been on.

That’s my viewpoint of course! And again — I am a traveler myself and want to have even bigger and bolder adventures, but I am going to do them with the person I love the most, the person who loves me the most and I will have a full heart, because I share it with my partner for life. And the journeys will have all the more meaning and sense and my soul will be warm!
