Farewell GrepPage. Hello Facebook.

I’m excited to announce that I’ve accepted a position with Facebook as a Software Engineer.

I’ve stopped actively working on GrepPage. The site will continue to stay up as it is largely on auto pilot.

Why Facebook

It’s an exciting time for Facebook and I’m equally excited to be its part. It boasts close to 2 Billion Monthly Active Users(MAU). The scale of the challenges here are comparable only to a few other companies.

I also had a very pleasant experience interviewing at Facebook compared to other companies of its size. My recruiter went above and beyond to help me prepare for the interview and later followed through.

I look forward to the challenges ahead and working with a team of talented and motivated folks.

Parting Thoughts

GrepPage wound’t have come this far if it weren’t for the help of folks who selflessly gave me their time and attention.

A special thanks to Sean Byrnes, Leo Polovets, Kevin Mahaffey, James Burgess, Greg Osuri, Roneil Rumburg, Sean Safahi and Justin McCandless for giving me advice and shaping the product.

Thank you so much for what you have done, your contribution made a world of a difference to me.

See you on the other side!
