Great explanation (and drawings ☺)! What got me, was the “sequel”… I had never heard about that. Here (in Germany) we pronounce it like individual letters: S-Q-L.

Of course the nitpicker in me had to google it, and it turns out people actually have verbal battles over this (who knew... ). “Sequel” seems to be the non-official pronounciation, often used in English speaking countries, whereas the official standard would be “S-Q-L”.

Just sayin’... ;D
