Patreon Micro Courses

I have created a list of the Micro Courses in the EvilTester Patreon site.

I will keep the list updated as I add new material.

I find it easier to navigate the list of courses and lectures from this here, even though they are all available to see using the Patreon tag micro course.

Current courses that I’m working on are:

  • Getting Your Message Out — blogging, youtube, conference talks etc.
  • Exploratory Testing in Action

Current Courses that I’ve completed are:

  • Protect The Square — Technical Web Testing Case Study with exercises
  • Test Ability Audit — a version of my public workshop on Test Ability

I will be adding future micro courses based on Patreon feedback.

The benefits of the Micro Courses on Patreon rather than a formal online course is that:

  • I can experiment with different formats
  • I can cover important/niche content that is harder to sell commercially
  • Topics can be driven by the Patreon Community
  • The Patreon community can steer the content as it is delivered as the material is built incrementally
  • If you are part of the community as the course is built then it is ‘drip fed’ to you and easier to consume incrementally.

The micro courses make up about 20–25% of the Patreon exclusive material.

Because there is now so much content on Patreon, I’ve switch Patreon to “pay when you sign up” so, your $5 pledge gives you instant access to the Material.

You can find the List of Micro Courses on the EvilTester.com/patreon page
