What can you build in jQuery?

When you’re starting a project, as a sanity check, make sure to remind yourself what it would take to make it with jQuery. If your answer is anything other than “Oh, it’d be awful”, you should take a step back and rethink what you’re doing.

Remember, jQuery with the right plugins can build practically anything very quickly, and most of the time jQuery doesn’t end up being that bad to maintain. Yeah, there are times when you need heavy-hitting Frontend frameworks, but those times are generally few and far between, especially when your application is fairly static.

Make sure you choose your Frontend stack for the right reasons, rather than the popular reasons.

And also remember to get some rest, you exhausted engineers.
