I’m still seeing posts from people asking what Kel’s piece, the original piece in question, looked like. For those who didn’t have the pleasure of reading Kel’s piece before it disappeared from Medium, here it is for reference.
Someone on Medium had already linked to this HuffPo article, but I lost his/her piece. Whoever the writer is, let me know, and I’ll hat-tip to that writer. More links won’t hurt.
And yeah, Alexainie, sounds like you’re all caught up now. It was all sorts of… since expressing it in words no longer captures the sentiment:
I hesitate to add more, as I do not want to contribute to the airtime of the undeserving. That, and words still fail me. But yes, what you said is pretty much the whole of the situation. It’s… ugh, I can’t even anymore.
If you found out some really interesting stuff from all this, then something was salvaged out of the wreckage. For me, it had me contemplating things like this and this, and other unpleasant but very important things.
Perhaps it’s in digging through these unpleasant but very important things that we can find our way out of this rabbit hole.
