I feel its completely appropriate that an institution like IDEO design systems, instead of the products of those (often) mis-guided systems. And reading between the lines, commoditized design must mean: more people, doing it better, cheaper.

Keep thinking big picture IDEO! We need more people above the perpetual techno-fray, asking the whys.
