If you are an event company or into event management, planning similar types of event every year, then you sometimes might fail to end up with new event decoration ideas, so that it does not look monotonous in your eye as well as in the eyes of your customers. Fabrics -

Proper use of fabrics is a must in events. Proper choice of fabrics in event can help you to unleash your creativity by adding a depth of color to the surroundings and thus upscaling how your event look. When this tool is wisely used, it can help your surrounding look more vibrant and event bigger.

Drapes are now a days widely used and if you are low in budget, use of drapes fabric on the buffet area can be a good choice.

Ceiling –

Another important thing is the ceiling which attracts the event attendees and when decorated properly covers the major part in the beautification of the venue. If your area is a mid size area, you can definiately try adding multi colored drapes from the center of the ceiling to the corners of the room. You can also use the combination of any two colors that goes with the theme of the event.

To make the ceiling look better, you can also try adding lights in between depending on your location, but see if those lights are not creating any problem to the event photgraphers. Its better you consult with the event photographers hired for the event, to know if it will suit their lenses.

Most of the times, this activity is not taken care of properly and as a result, may be your event looks good in realtiy but not in the pictures and you can relate how important it is to look equally good in both the places.

Every small Corner –

Try to utilize every small things that are part of the event. If you have a table kept, dont make it feel that its not a part of the event. Just remember when your event is taking place, your attendees may be everywhere sitting or standing or gossiping with their friends or collegues and at that time, they must not feel as if they are in some other place. So if you are low in budget, try decorating the corners or the tables with small small things that will keep your attendees engaged and they are not bored. Remember, everytime heavy decoration may not look good, but simple things might attact people.

You can try putting chocolates or candies in a customised packets related to the event and place them in a table for your attendees. Kids gonna definately love this segment too. You can also put some table tents related to the event or pictures of the couple and their photographs from the past occassions followed if its a wedding event.

Stay away from boring seating arrangements –

Why its everytime the seats are arranged as if you are sitting in some theatre or in the mode of attending a lecture. If its a wedding event or birthday parties or your client is throwing an anniversary party, your attendees will be here to enjoy, chit chat and so much more. So its better you arrange the seats as community seating style so that your guests can keep themselves engaged.

Along with chairs, try using couches, bar tools or even bean bags to make them feel cool and as if they are spending a leisure time. Try to be different or else, you can never know what works for your audience.

Stage Backdrop –

Now stage backdrop is the most integral part of the event as this is the place where the eyes of every attendees gonna stick. So to bring stage to life, there are lots of things you can do. You can choose from various options like Stage LED Screens, Floral and drape decorations if its an wedding or you can also try to give the experience of augmented reality that integrates the speaker in the backdrop and that can be a cool feature if its a corporate event.

We have to admit that we all have a child in us and it gets invoked when we experience a. surprise. Goodies can be a kind of surprise for your attendees and raises a sense of curiosity in mind. Who does not love GIFT?

Lighting –

This is the most important element for killer events to take place. Be it any occasion, celebration, festival we never miss adding lights to make the celebration feel more powerful.

Lighting is an extremely important part of the event and can completely overhaul the look and feel of your event. But you must remember, there is some special requirement based on every event type. If its a conference an event manager must take care that enough lighting is supplied in the main sitting area. But the lights should not be so bright that it creates difficulties reading on-stage.

If its a wedding, its always advised to talk with the photographer of the event and lighting in the venue should be planned accordingly.

Buffet –

Food is something that reaches the heart through the mouth and what reaches the heart stays forever. When a guest plans to visit your event they expect some lip smacking food but along with the quality of the food, how you display the food can really leave an impact in the mind of the attendees.

Its not mandatory buffet counter only needs to have foods displayed. You can always decorate the counter surroundings with fresh flowers and lights.

Fragrance –

Fragrance does not add visual beautification but it certainly plays with the mood of your guests. Every people loves good smell and adding a mild fragrance in the venue can really create a beautiful experience for your attendees.
