Day 4.

Close your eyes and imagine this, Imagine that you travel on the wings of words, imagine that a beautiful string of words bathes you with different emotions , you cry and laugh and scream and yell and hug your pillow at the same time, that you picked a book at seven pm and finished at one am, thats exactly what Redeeming love did to me.

The best book I have read aside the bible is redeeming love by Francine Rivers. In the book, Rivers weaved a beautiful story around the book of hosea, narrating God’s unending unrelenting love in the process.

The story revolves around a lady, angel who got caught up in prostitution from childhood, watch her mother murdered, her father defile her (unknowingly) survive the callous claws of the devil and the heinious heat of hell before she was finally saved by a warrior who loved him irrevocably, but guess what?

She was too scared of the love and the purity that she went back to her old trade, not once, not twice.I almost tempted to review the book, but I won’t, go and read it yourself and let’s discuss after.

I have read this book eight times, eight blessed times! and I would read it again and again if opportune, I have read a lot of amazing books across different spheres. From Frank perreti to Karen Kingsbury, to John Maxwell and Dee henderson, not forgetting my African wonders-Sefi Atta, Tomi Adeyemi and the Queen Adichei herself. As a matter of fact Purple almost beat Redeeming love off my list(I have read it 12 times) But redeeming love is evergreen.

Which is your favorite book?
