Introduction
As this series struggles toward Hebrews 6 & 10 it seems to be a poor copy of Pilgrims Progress in that there are numerous side tracks leading to a Pearl of Wisdom.
So many Pearls, so little time.
The examination of THE DRAMA OF THE WOMAN CAUGHT IN ADULTERY, showed that it was the potential sin of Jesus that was the focal point — the Religious Glitterati, and the woman of concern, were supporting roles. This lead on to WHAT ON EARTH WAS JESUS WRITING?? which, if you accept my argument, showed that Jesus was writing the names of the unrighteous Religious Elite on the natural surface of the ground. This then opened up the question about what happens to the names of the Righteous? Unexpectedly, at least for me, is that there occurs a cross-over here into Eternal Security.
What happens to the names of the Righteous?
God shows His lavish Loving Kindness toward those who love Him (are obedient, John 14:15), as is written in Isaiah 49:15–16 || “Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you. See, I have inscribed (H2710) you on the palms of My hands (H3709). . . ”
H2710 — ḥāqaq, verb = inscribe, engrave, to cut in or on, cut upon, engrave
H3709 — kap̄ = palm, hand, palm of the hand, hollow or flat of the hand
This is yet another Prophetic text about the Redemption of the Saints by the Cross.
Is there a contrast to the pen of iron in Jeremiah 17:1?
Yes, it is written in Psalm 18:2 || The Lord (H3068 — Yᵊhōvâ) |is| my rock (H5553 — selaʿ) and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength (H6697 — ṣûr), in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
[Note: |is|is not in the Hebrew Text. It has been inserted by English translators. When all of the English padding words are deleted from this tract, it is evident that David is speaking directly to God, not just about Him.]

H5553 — selaʿ rock, as stronghold of Yehovah — of security (figurative)
H6697 — ṣûr = proper noun with reference to deity, i.e. a Name of God = Rock
To write in the Hand of The Rock would require special instruments, as described in Job 19:23–27 || … Oh, that they were inscribed in a book! That they were engraved on a rock With an iron pen and lead, forever!
Yehovah is El Olam, Everlasting God — God over eternal things.
The interpretation is given in Luke 10:20 || Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven.”
How do I know I’m a Saint?
Fan or follower? Convert or disciple? Citizen or patriot? Professor or Possessor? Taker or Partaker?
