Holy Hormones Bible Study: If your book isn’t a buzz, it’s not the Bible.

IF YOUR BIBLE IS BORING, WE’RE READING A DIFFERENT BOOK.

I don’t pretend my posts are easy to read.

The original of this post has been lost in a losing battle with Technology, so this is a re-issue. The menu is the same if you’ve come across it before — a growing list of my publications — so you can skip it.

All the posts are industrial strength pro-Christianity and the Bible, with a big dollop of the Hebrew heritage all NT Saints have been gifted. Boasting no Theological Qualifications, other than being able to read English, I just tell it as I see it.

If you decide to read anything on this list you will quickly discover that no writer can be blamed (perhaps if ChatGPT was used?).

The posts are for the Hungry. There is no seeking of a following. If you are after only a snack, they are possibly not for you.

They may be hard to digest because there is more here than a normal, well adjusted person would generally want to know. You may have to chew a bit.

The detail which makes me a boring person brings the Bible alive for me.

I do my best but they may be so confusing you can’t decide if it’s nonsense or not. However, if you get the taste there may be something here for you.

As for the name. I’ve been blessed with a Sabra (Israel born, Mother Tongue Hebrew) who tells me, “When you hear the words, ‘When you seek Me you will find Me,’ think “HORMONES.” Imagine two young lovers seeking each other in a crowd. Their eyes are darting about, their heart is thumping, they are excited and full of expectation. Then, when they see each other — they are alive. That is the primitive passion HaShem is seeking from His People.
