ExoPlanets Development Update #5
Greetings space explorers!
Another busy week has passed and we’re on fire! The evolution mechanism beta was released for all of you ExoPlanets owners to enjoy and test.
Overall, the evolution mechanism works well and you guys gave us great feedback. We’re aware of several bugs that still needs to be fixed and that will be our main focus this week.
We have also raised the bug bounty for critical major bugs and security flaws today, as we want the experts among you to try and break our system so we can be ready for when the game launches. Show us what you got!
The new bounties are:
-10 ExoTokens will be awarded for graphical bugs or non-critical bugs.
-100 ExoTokens will be awarded for serious bugs or security flaws.
-500 ExoTokens will be awarded for system critical bugs, security flaws or exploits.
The bounties will be paid during these next couple of weeks as we fix the bugs one by one.
New ExoPlanets Are Coming:
During September we will launch several marketing campaigns on leading dapp sites to attract new players, and we will also offer new types of ExoPlanets for sale.
Since the current market prices are relatively high, we need to offer a variety of prices to allow everyone to join in the game.
The new ExoPlanets we will offer will have a 1%-4% life rate (yes, lower than 5%) in a price range of 0.1–0.4 Ether, and will not have any tech bonuses. These planets will be harder to evolve, but since they are a way cheaper entry point it will allow new players to join easily and see what this game is about before purchasing a bigger, better ExoPlanet.
More updates and interesting things we would like to share with you
The TGE might get delayed a bit as we’re working towards finding the right platform for it and dealing with all the legal and financial issues it entails. We will update you as soon as we have more news on this.
Since ExoPlanets is such a cool looking game and concept, and you guys love it so much, we were thinking of bringing some merchandise for sale; Shirts, hats, coffee mugs, pillows, bags and stuff like that.
