4 Problems of Web Development — from Developer’s perspective

My solution is to phase out front end work, I don’t want to do it anymore. It’s boring. I like complex problems to solve and in the front end these problems are complex because the technology is bs, not because the problem is unique and fun.

The advantage of these Stone Age tools is that these are easy to learn. Grab a noob from the street teach him html, css and basic js, call him or her “junior front end developer” one to three months later and you are good to go. The result will be a crazy but working mess.

We have the web development tools and languages because once they were cheap, easy and fast and now we have to pay for this sin.
