Singledom

When you’ve been single for as long as I have, you go through a myriad of emotions that, well… doesn’t exactly put you in a good place. You start to wonder if maybe you’re being too picky, or if maybe you’re just unbearable. And if you will ever meet someone you can share more than just a platonic connection with. You start to wonder how so many people can fall in and out of love all the time and you’re still just there alone. And then its gets worst as you get older. You get to see all your friends get married and have kids and you wonder to yourself if you’ll ever get there. And there’s no real answer for that. Maybe… yeah, you’ll get there. Or maybe you should start thinking about how you’re gonna afford taking care of a dozen cats. Who knows.

But as far as being single and watching the world fall in love, there are two options for you…

You can either witness a couple in love and appreciate the beauty of it, or you can let jealousy taint your heart and let it change you bitterly.

Either way love will exist with or without your approval.

Always believe in love. It’s okay to be loveless, but never love less.
