1. Gadkari Rangayatan
In the year 1978, the Thane Municipal Corporation started to build the “Ram Ganesh Gadkari Rangayatan” theatre besides the most attractive and famous “Masunda” lake in Thane city. The inauguration function of the theatre was done by famous Natvarya Mr.Mama Pendse.
The theatre has the capacity to accommodate 1056 viewers at a time. This includes 4 green rooms, independent booking office, 1 guest section, canteen, and rehearsal hall. The garden beside the lake adds to its beauty. Since the past 30 years, the record of approximately 1000 plays in a year i.e. till now 30000 plays have been successfully completed by the theatre. The theatre itself is known as the artist’s and viewer’s first choice for entertainment.

2. Thane Kalabhavan
Thane Kalabhavan is nestled in the lush green pentagon of the key areas of Kupurbavdi junction, Ghodbandar road, Baulkum, Dhokali, and Kolshet. The three-storied building is a marvelous, visually rich and conceptually provocative masterpiece of architecture. Thane Kalabhavan is ‘The Art destination’ in Thane. With four exhibition galleries, one art library and two conference halls, Thane Kalabhavan stimulates the environment for art talents and quality programs in Thane city. The venue promises a 360-degree experience in art, culture, and heritage all situated in the most modern setting. Globular layout space for exhibitors has an overlooking space which is well lit. Modern amenities like elevators, washroom on every floor 7 a ‘Dumping Room’ for artists are provided. For the first time in India, insurance cover will be provided to the art exhibit and the benefit can be availed by artists. One can also avail art insurance facilities at Thane Kalabhavan. Like a blooming flower, there are three exhibition halls the ‘Tansa’, ‘Vaitarna’ & ‘Bhatsa’, with central overlooking has ample space for 25 to 30 art pieces exhibit. use of natural light adds to the beauty of the symphony of three galleries which have a glorious blend of natural & artificial light & centrally controlled music. 3. Dr. Kashinath Ghanekar Natyagruha
Thane being the lake city, it has also blossomed itself as a cultural heritage of Theatre. Dr. Kashinath Ghanekar Natyagruha is one of the new proud property in Thane builds for the Thaneites. The auditorium is named after eminent theatre and film personality Dr. Kashinath Ghanekar. Having the best quality of acoustic panels matching to International standards, the auditorium has one big theatre with size 60 x 100, one of the biggest in Maharashtra, having the capacity of 1200 seats.
The auditorium has a mini theatre on the 3rd floor having the capacity of 183 seats. Along with this, the property offers 2 rehearsal halls along with VIP rooms. Hiranandani Meadows being the prime location of the property it has got canteen facility and ample parking space for visitors. Another major highlight of the auditorium is the Amhi Theatre the only one in the city of Thane.
