Open Mineral is about to use Blockchain in commodity trading

The idea is to increase the efficiency of the market for raw materials for base and precious metals using Blockchain technology. The digital platform Open Mineral Exchange will bring together sellers and buyers, mining and metallurgical companies, allowing them to conduct a direct and safe transaction without intermediaries. The new technology also digitizes and simplifies the complex paper process.

These new trading platforms for physical goods have been appearing in the last couple of years. Tradecloud, for example, relates to the refined metal market, while Metalshub focuses on ferroalloys. But none of the existing platforms use Blockchain.
