Walmart sent applications for registration of Blockchain patents in the US

The retail giant Walmart send two applications to the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), which described the use of Blockchain technology.

The first one presents a payment system based on the Blockchain-account, which will automatically carry out transactions on behalf of the client to various suppliers of goods and services.

The history of transactions will be available only to counterparties and closed to third parties. The second application describes a digital trading system where Blockchain is used to encrypt payment data.
