We need to stop with this ridiculous habit of “re-packaging” and huckstering.
No personal attack on this writer but “Retentioneer” is gibberish. Growth hacker, retentioneer… they’re all marketing. Just because we have new tools for achieving the same goals doesn’t mean we need to pretend we’ve cracked some great enigma.
If you’re a marketer and think there’s something revolutionary about growing a business and keeping customers (or that it’s some niche concern for someone else), then you’re terrible at your job.
