- First, go to eprosol.xyz — that’s the dApp we’ll be using.
2. Click on the top right corner to connect your Phantom wallet.
3. Enter your token name; for example, the name of the BOME token is “Book Of Meme.”
4. Enter your token symbol; for example, the symbol for the BOME token is BOME.
5. Input your token supply. You can mint just a few hundred or thousand tokens, or you can mint billions — it’s up to you. Keep in mind that more tokens mean a lower price at the same market cap. The default here is a supply of one billion.
6. Enter your token decimals. Typically, you’ll choose between 6 to 9 decimal places, depending on your preference. The default here is 9 decimal places.
7. Provide a brief description of your token, introducing what it’s about. This is optional.
8. Upload an image as your token logo; this is mandatory.
9. By now, you’ve filled out the basic information for your token. Next, you can add some social media information for your token, but this is optional. You can leave these fields blank.
10. Finally, click the “Create Token” button, sign the authorization, and confirm the transaction. In a few seconds, your token will be created, costing only 0.35 SOL. The address of your created token will be displayed below the button. You can copy the token address and then use solscan.io to check the token information. You can also open your Phantom wallet to find your newly minted token.
Please note that if you want your token to pass security checks by some token verification tools, you need to revoke freeze and mint permissions. This means you won’t be able to freeze token holders’ tokens or mint more tokens. Doing this will allow others to buy your token with confidence. These two options are checked by default.
