He is subsequently hired to coach AFC Richmond, an association football team. A folksy American, he is seen as unsophisticated but is smarter than he looks. He loves to coach and cares more about people than wins. The series details his day-to-day life as he aims to prove everyone wrong.
Although Ted Lasso is a shows similar to Brooklyn 99 with only 2 seasons, It is surely captivating enough to keep your whole attention focus on the screen as you fall into bouts of laughter as the show goes on.
